Don't expect to hear a slick young-chick singing (heck, she's ~65!) Do expect a beautiful song sung by a woman who has lived long enough to now fill it with far more rich/subtle feeling & energy.
If you're only listening with your ears to an imperfect voice, then you're missing most of it's beauty, and by all means should stick to the old familiar version.
Give it a chance. Maybe you'll start to feel an unanticipated connection to the human artist.....where the imperfection eventually becomes appreciated as part of the gift.

Another recent "Free" song I thought I'd try, it is actually pretty good! Carly Simon still sings great and I've liked her music as long as I can remember her signing! That's the 1970's!
